Our Story
Nestled in the magnificent Monadnock region of southwestern New Hampshire,Thomas R. Longacre Antiques was established in 1972 and is owned by Tom and his wife Beverly. Our historic eighteenth-century home, with its modern gallery addition, has been the location of our full-time antiques business for more than 40 years. Our gallery is open by appointment, or you can see us at one of many antiques shows throughout the year.
About Tom
After Tom graduated from college in 1971 with degrees in history and art, the antiques business was a natural career choice for him. He has dedicated over three and a half decades to the discovery, study, and placement of antiques and folk art. His expertise has afforded him the opportunity to work with both dealers and collectors at all levels, and in a wide range of categories. Sharing that passion for discovery is a common bond between Tom and his clients.
About Bev
Beverly holds a Master's degree in education and, prior to moving to New Hampshire, owned and operated an antiques business in New Jersey for over 15 years. Along with her work at Thomas R. Longacre Antiques, she specializes in antique Christmas folk art trading under the name Beverly A. Weir - Christmas Antiques. She is currently show co-chairman for the annual New Hampshire Antiques Dealers Show, held in Manchester, NH each August.
